Have you considered a smart home security system?

Due to my job as a community care worker, I often work long and unusual hours. There will be some days when I am able to pop home 3 times within the day but there are sometimes when I am out the house for 12 or even 14 hours. This sometimes worries me as I do wonder about my house being vulnerable when I am not home.

Then I discovered the Panasonic range of monitoring systems. These contain a main hub that connects to your home wifi. You can then add which ever devices you require. This means that you can have a home security system that suits your life.

The devises are easy to install with a one touch set up. You just need to touch the button on the main hub and touch the button on the devise and they are connected. These devices are discrete and can be placed anywhere within the house or garden. There are no wires to trip over or limit where they are placed.

These devices connect to a smartphone or tablet via an app and can be fully controlled by a smartphone or tablet. The app allows you to watch live feed from your cameras, switch on your plugs or get alerted to any motion detectors are triggered.

I particularly like the idea of having a Panasonic Motion sensor. This device will alert your smartphone or tablet if there is movement in your house or garden. Alternatively this device can be set to activate other devices connected to your main hub. For example if the motion sensor detects an intruder, it can activate a smart plug to switch on a light to deter intruders.

I was a little concerned about the Panasonic Motion sensor as I have a dog (who is a rubbish guard dog!) and I don't want to be alerted every time my dog moves! However you are able to change the intensity of the sensor to ensure it is only intruders that activate the device.

The thing that I like most about the Panasonic Motion sensor is that it alerts you as it happens. Rather then have getting home, finding you have been burgled and then having to look back over your cctv, you can get alerted to the intruder and watch the cctv on your smartphone as it happens so your are able to get the police there quicker.

Overall the range of Panasonic home smart security systems are really good and I like that they can be personalised to suit your home and situation. To see the full range of Panasonic home smart security systems please visit their website.
