I Am Now A Boomerang Child

Hello. I haven’t been blogging for a few weeks, but now I’m back. I have had quite a busy few weeks which includes the fact that, much to my mums despair, I have officially become a boomerang child!

Just over two years ago I moved out of my mums house.  I found a lovely couple a couple of miles away, who wanted to rent out their spare room for a little extra income. When I moved out I was excited about my new adventure and things seemed to go well.

I loved the new freedom and mine and my mums relationship got better as we were no longer living on top of each other.

However about a months ago my landlord told me that there had been a problem within the family and their son needed to move home. I totally understand that family comes first and so started my packing.

I was a little upset at first as I felt that I was going backwards in life. One of my best friends sat me down and told me not too worry, that everyone moves back in with mum and dad at some point so I knew I would bounce back and be ok.

As I had been so poorly over Christmas I didn’t really have the savings to move somewhere else so mum said I could move back in with her. She had agreed that I can pay less rent so I can save up to move into my own flat.

I am lucky very that my friends are awesome and once I had packed up all my stuff they came over to drive it too my mums , because I don’t drive. It was at this time that I was glad I have grown up playing Tetris as I had a lot of stuff and fitting it into the car was a challenge!

Luckily we were able to do it and we successfully moved everything back to mums house. Tilly is ridiculously happy that I have moved back in and every time I go to work, she is checking that I am coming home again after!
